Its a Long Way To Tipperary - Connaught Rangers - World War One Anthem

'It's a Long Way to Tipperary' was written in 1912 by Jack Judge as a drinking song. His grandparents were from Tipperary. It became known all over the world when the great Irish tenor Count John McCormack recorded it in 1914.
