Rowntrees has been in existence since 1862, taking the name from Henry Isaac Rowntree. The Rowntree factory was located in Inchicore in Dublin, it has since closed down and was purchased by a property developer. The apartments built on the site are called, wait for it...'The Chocolate Factory'.
