Padráig Pearse Portrait with Signature

Padráig Pearse (also known as Patrick Pearse) was an Irish teacher, barrister, poet, writer, nationalist and political activist who was one of the leaders of the Easter Rising in 1916.

The British executed Pearse by firing squad on the morning of May 3rd, 1916 in Dublin. He became to be seen by many as the  embodiment of the Irish rebellion. 

Each of the antique prints in our archive have been digitally enhanced and are as perfect as possible taking into consideration the age of the original. We have also added a subtle 'aged look' to each print which adds an extra aura of authenticity and creates a stunning atmosphere when framed.
