Rare Poster for All Ireland Final between Cavan and Kerry at the Polo Grounds, New York, 1947.
Held in New York to commemorate 100 year anniversary of the Famine in Ireland.
During the famine approximately 1 million people died and a million more emigrated from Ireland, causing the island's population to fall by between 20% and 25%.
Each of the antique prints in our archive have been digitally enhanced and are as perfect as possible taking into consideration the age of the original. We have also added a subtle 'aged look' to each print which adds an extra aura of authenticity and creates a stunning atmosphere when framed.
We are delighted to be able to present these fascinating rarities of old Ireland for you to own.
We look forward to helping you create your own collection that can be treasured and admired by your family for many generations to come!
