The Cobblestone is located at the top of Smithfield, near the Four Courts, in Dublin's North Inner City. The Smithfield area has over the past few years become popular among the late 20s and early 30s and many mingle with inner city Dubliners in this convivial old bar.

The bar serves a very nice pint and has an excellent range of beers, including the full selection of Dublin Brewing Company beers. The decor of the bar has all the charm and musty elegance of a country pub. The environment is rustic and homely with artifacts on the wall from many a persons travel on the world. The walls have many stories to tell.

The atmosphere is chatty, convivial and unpretentious. You are guaranteed to find a traditional session rocking up the front bar every evening. 'The Back Room' gives an intimate environment for a memorable session of Folk, Roots and Traditional to the Spoken word and the odd interesting private function.

Home of fantastic trad music sessions, great pints of Guinness and the most laid back and charming bar staff that you will come across. That combination makes this pub one of the finest pubs that you will come across anywhere in Dublin. So if you'd like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a night and enjoy a chat over a pint, the Cobblestone is recommended.
